What is Marionette Lines Botox?
Marionette lines run from the corners of the mouth down toward the chin. They form from two causes: loss of volume and support in the lower face, and a small but powerful muscle called the depressor anguli oris (DAO) that pulls the mouth corners downward.
Marionette lines Botox targets the DAO. When this muscle relaxes, the opposing lifting muscles can work more freely, so the mouth corners sit slightly higher and the lines look less heavy. It addresses the muscle side of the problem, not lost volume.

Downtime, Aftercare & Possible Side Effects
You can go back to work or sightseeing right away. On the day of treatment, avoid pressing or massaging the area, and skip saunas and intense exercise.
Possible side effects include mild bruising and tenderness at the injection points.
