Eyebrow Lift Botox in Seoul |  Apgujeong EU:GENES Skin Clinic

A slightly lower or flatter brow can make your eyes look heavy and tired. At Apgujeong EU:GENES Skin Clinic, Dr. Jung uses small, strategic botulinum toxin injections to lift and shape the brows for a fresher, more open look.

What is eyebrow lift Botox?

Your brow position depends on a tug of war between muscles. The forehead muscle pulls the brows up, while several muscles around the eyes and between the brows pull them down. Eyebrow lift Botox, sometimes called a chemical brow lift, relaxes selected "pull-down" muscles so the lifting muscle can raise the brow a little.

The effect is subtle, usually a gentle lift of a few millimeters, often focused on the tail of the brow to create a softer arch. It is a refinement, not a replacement for surgery.

Who is it for?

This treatment suits people with mildly low or flat brows, slight heaviness over the outer eyelids, or asymmetric brows that they would like to balance. It is often combined with forehead or frown-line treatment to keep everything in proportion.

It is not a good option for significant brow drooping or heavy excess eyelid skin, where a surgical consultation may be more appropriate. It is also not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with neuromuscular disorders, with infection at the site, or with an allergy to botulinum toxin. If you already have very arched brows, extra lift can look surprised, and Dr. Jung will tell you honestly if the treatment will not suit you.

Your treatment at EU:GENES

Brow shape is personal, so your 1:1 consultation is the most important step. Dr. Jung Yoo-jin studies your brows at rest and while you raise them, frown and close your eyes. She checks each side separately, since most people have one brow sitting slightly higher than the other.

Together you agree on the look you want, whether that is a softer arch, a lifted tail or better symmetry. Dr. Jung then performs a small number of precise injections herself. Because only a few millimeters of lift are involved, accuracy matters more than dose.

Results & how long they last

The lift usually starts to show within a week and settles by about two weeks. Results typically last three to four months. The change is subtle, and many people notice that they look more rested rather than that anything specific has changed.

Downtime, aftercare & possible side effects

There is normally no downtime. Small bumps and redness fade within an hour, and a small bruise is occasionally possible.

Avoid rubbing the area, lying flat for four hours, intense exercise, saunas and alcohol on the day. Possible side effects include uneven lift, an overly arched or "surprised" brow, mild headache and, rarely, eyelid drooping. A small touch-up at the two-week review can often correct minor asymmetry.

FAQ

How much lift can I expect?

Typically a few millimeters. It is enough to open the eye area, but it will not match the result of a surgical brow lift.

Can it help with hooded eyes?

For mild hooding, a small lift can make more eyelid visible. For heavy hooding or excess skin, surgery or skin-tightening options such as Thermage FLX may be more effective.

Can it be done with forehead Botox?

Yes, and it often should be. Dr. Jung plans the brow lift and forehead Botox together so your brows are not pulled down by an over-relaxed forehead.
