Tear trough filler is a small, precise injection of soft hyaluronic acid (HA) filler into the hollow between the lower eyelid and the upper cheek. By replacing lost support in this area, it smooths the transition from lid to cheek and reduces the shadow that creates a "tired" look.

Results & how long they last
You will see a smoother under-eye right away, with the final look settling over about two weeks as mild swelling resolves. Because there is little movement in this area, results typically last around 9 to 12 months, and sometimes longer for some patients. Downtime, aftercare & possible side effects
Mild swelling, tenderness and small bruises are common for a few days. Sleep with your head slightly raised, avoid alcohol, saunas and intense exercise for 48 hours, and do not rub the area.
Less common problems include lumps, a bluish tint (the Tyndall effect) if filler sits too superficially, and prolonged puffiness. The tear trough is a higher-risk area: rarely, filler can block a blood vessel (vascular occlusion), which in very rare cases can affect vision.
